Infantino arrives in Basra to attend the opening ceremony of the Gulf Cup 25

The President of the International Football Association, Gianni Infantino, arrived today, Friday, in Basra to attend the opening ceremony of the Gulf 25.

The reporter of the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated that “the president of FIFA arrived in Basra to attend the opening ceremony of the Gulf 25,” noting that “the president of the Football Association, Adnan Darjal, was in his reception.”.

Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani and Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi had arrived in Basra to attend the opening of the Gulf 25 tournament.

This afternoon, the Gulf Championship 25 will start in Basra Governorate, while the Basra Governorate confirmed, yesterday, Thursday, its technical and logistical readiness for the start of the tournament.
