Arsenal win 5 games straight, Barcelona 9 points ahead of Real Madrid in respective leagues

Napoli, PSG, Bayern Munich also maintain leads in respective leagues

Arsenal won 5 games straight in English Premier League, while Barcelona is nine points ahead of Real Madrid in Spanish La Liga.

Napoli, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich also maintain leads in their respective leagues; Italian Serie A, French Ligue 1 and German Bundesliga.

English Premier League

Taking firm steps forward in their title bid, Arsenal beat Fulham 3-0 and extended their winning streak to five games in the league.

The reigning champions of the last two years, Manchester City, have continued their pursuit of Arsenal by winning against Crystal Palace 1-0.

Manchester United, one of the teams struggling to get the Champions League quota, got a goalless draw with Southampton. Tottenham defeated Nottingham Forrest 3-1, while Newcastle United beat Wolverhampton 2-1.

Liverpool, competing for the Champions League quota race, defeated Manchester United with a historical score of 7-0 last week, disappointed its fans by losing to Bournemouth 0-1 on the road.

Spanish La Liga
