The Ministry of Defense announced that a helicopter, designated for training, Crashed at al Kut air base as a result of a technical defect, injuring its crew.

The Ministry stated in a statement: During a training sortie carried out by army aviation heroes using Bell (Jet Ranger) helicopters designated for training at al-Kut Air Base, one of those helicopters fell as a result of a technical defect, which led to the flight crew being lightly injured. A technical committee was sent from the Ministry to investigate the circumstances of the accident and determine the technical defect that led to the helicopters falling.”
