Al-Araji told a senior Kuwaiti diplomat: Understanding and dialogue are the way to resolve all common issues

National Security Advisor Qasim Al-Araji met in his official office in Baghdad with the Kuwaiti Deputy Ambassador to Iraq, Fahd Al-Fadhli, and discussed with him a number of issues of common interest.

A statement by the Iraqi National Security Advisory stated that the two sides discussed during the meeting ways to strengthen relations between Iraq and Kuwait and issues of common interest.

The statement quoted Al-Araji as confirming during the meeting that Iraq respects Kuwait’s sovereignty in the past, present and future.

Al-Araji stated to the Kuwaiti diplomat that the meeting that brought together Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani and the Kuwaiti Prime Minister demonstrated the position of love and respect towards sister Kuwait, indicating that understanding and dialogue are the way to resolve all issues in accordance with the principle of good neighborliness and through the competent legal committees.
