10 terrorists killed in Anbar desert by counter-terrorism

An anti-terrorist operation Monday carried out a major security operation in which 10 ISIS operatives were killed and six arrested in Anbar.

A security source said that “counter-terrorism forces carried out a major operation with the support of the international coalition forces called Eid Salat, which included areas where a movement of terrorist gangs is active.”

He added that “counter-terrorism forces killed eight ISIS members by airdrops in the Rutba area.”

The source added that “the forces of the agency carried out an airdrop to another in the lake of Hamrin, killing two members of ISIS terrorist.”

He said that “anti-terrorist forces raided the areas of Karma and Dulab in Anbar and arrested six elements, including a senior leader.”
