South Korean Foreign Ministry announced that it was aboard a cargo ship capsized off the coast of the United States in the Atlantic Ocean 4 Korean citizens.
Four sailors were closed in the engine room of the ship, which belongs to one of the country’s largest logistics companies, Hyundai Glovis Co. said. Ltd.
Earlier, the US Coast Guard reported that the Golden Ray cargo ship, which was sailing to Baltimore (Maryland) under the Marshall Islands flag and transporting cars, capsized off the coast of Georgia. A fire broke out on the ship, but 20 of the 24 crew were evacuated by the coastguard.
Foreign and defense ministers and many other ministries will hold a meeting soon, and the issue of sending rescuers to the scene will be discussed. Currently, US Border Guard operates the site. They were searching for the missing sailors; it was not yet possible to establish the cause of the accident
